the inclusion of a Transition Class to ease the leap from Beginner Cuban Salsa to Intermediate Cuban Salsa,
and to re-introduce Beginner Rueda de Casino as a weekly class!
Thursdays have changed to three 45 minute classes to allow for:
Bachata Beginners
Bachata Intermediate 
and for Bachatango to run as a weekly casual class until sufficient numbers are registered for the next Course
(Bachata Beginners or demonstrated Bachata experience is a prerequisite for Bachatango)
Special deal, per person, per night:
$10 for 1 class
$15 for 2 classes
$20 for 3 classes
(4th class free on Mondays!)

Are you interested in PERFORMING Rueda de Casino, Salsa, Zouk Lambada, Bachata or Bachatango with Movimiento? Talk to Bernadette now about joining our community performance group! Regular attendance at Rueda de Casino intermediate classes on Tuesdays is a requirement, with other [free] rehearsal times to be organised for particular opportunities. This group will be developed on a rolling basis, and is an enjoyable way to improve your ability, repertoire of moves, style and confidence, while sharing the latino love with the broader community.

Photographer and JCU lecturer Raul Posse's work carizCumbal is now on show at Movimiento!
 

Raul took the photographs in Colombia when his sister, a film producer, was casting for a child actor for a movie about a famous entrepreneur who was born in the volcanic Cumbal region. The faces represent the mixed cultural heritage of Colombia, from indigenous to European, as well as providing a glimpse of the individual character of each niño.
